Designing the best player development program in college golf.

And chasing down dreams while we do.

Goucher College is an innovative liberal arts college on the northern edge of Baltimore city. We launched our golf program in the fall of 2017 with big dreams and a clear vision for what we wanted the program to become. We believe we are building one of the best player development programs in all of college golf here. It is our passion and joy to see players develop towards their full potential as golfers and people.

In the inaugural season our men's team, comprised of 5 freshman, won our conference championship and advanced to the national championship. The women's team finished third in conference with three out of our five players earning all-conference honors. It has been an incredible start to the program and we are inspired and eager to continue chasing down our dreams in the 2018-2019 season.

The end goal for our athletes is that they would leave us prepared and equipped for their future. We take a holistic approach to player development and work to provide our players with the necessary resources to grow both as golfers and as people. Both our head and assistant coach have extensive competitive golf experience (collegiate and professional - including the Canadian Tour, Tour, and PGA Tour) and they continue to compete in the offseason. We work with consultants who help us with swing mechanics, sports psychology, and golf fitness. We believe we connect our players with the best.

Goucher College was founded in 1885 by the Rev. John Franklin Goucher. Since its inception Goucher has grown, developed, and established itself as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the nation. Goucher has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades and is notably among the short list of Colleges That Change Lives. The college offers 33 majors, has a 10-1 student-faculty ratio, is the #1 study abroad program in the nation, and a consistently ranks inside the top 20 in on-campus dining.
